Reporting directly to the Claims Manager, you will act as support to companies managing their claims in Canada and the United States.

 

 

Handling claims of various exposure and complexity with specific limits and authority

Handling all standard line of business, including Physical Damage, Third Party Property Damage, nominal Bodily Injury liability and Cargo Claims

Responding to divisions needs using efficient problem solving skills

Negotiating settlements within authority

All other related tasks

 

 

Bachelors Degree or equivalent

Previous Claims handling experience is essential based on specific business requirements

Fundamental knowledge of the insurance industry, claims, and the insurance legal and regulatory environment

A functional and developing knowledge of the legal statutes  and procedures

Functional knowledge and skill of claims handling  specific to assigned area
