Temporary Employment Assignments

If you accept temporary employment and become an assignment employee, you are an employee of Staffclick and work at one of our clients’ sites. As your employer, Staffclick will employ you on temporary jobs if they are available. After completing a temporary job your employment may end, or you may be placed in another temporary job if an opportunity is available. It is possible to go from temporary job to temporary job over a period of time, gaining a variety of useful work experiences.

During temporary employment, Staffclick expects each of its temporary employees to adhere to their code of conduct and to fulfill other administrative responsibilities associated with being an assignment employee. These include attendance and punctuality, proper dress and grooming, appropriate business behaviours and attitude, and communicating your availability for work.

Temporary employment entitles you to Statutory Holiday Pay and similar termination and severance benefits as are other employees in the province of Ontario. When you begin temporary employment with Staffclick, more details of your rights and your expected conduct are provided to you.
